Anti-Mental Health Speech and New Age Treatments

There have been a lot of clamor for new ways in psychiatry and treatment of mental health patients, particularly those that tend to manifest only mild symptoms such as Multiple Personal Disorder and schizoprenia.

There are several scientifically based essays that has been published regarding new age treatments of these common but debilitating conditions. Here is a particular video that I would like to share.

It's All About Online Therapy!

These past couple of weeks have been very busy! Kate Anthony and Stephen Goss presented in Amsterdam at the E-Mental Health Summit on the ethics of online therapy. Knowing your limits

You're in a video chat session with a new client and the discussion becomes extremely confusing. People hold back on using these forms of expression because somehow they've gotten the idea that it's not enough if what they make helps them. They feel it has to be "good" to be worthwhile. My training and life experience begs to differ; it's about the process NOT the product.… Continue

Great Blog! Thank you.

I just joined this social network today and it's like diving into Alice In Wonderland's rabbit hole! Love it. It's a magical place!

I received my DCC in June of this year and have been percolating on how to put it to best use. After reading this thread, I'm happy to say that my growing inclinations are largely reinforced by what I've read here. I looked into some of the e-therapy sites and wasn't comfortable with being jointly presented to the public with astrologers, psychics and the like.

I… Continue
