- I specialize in trauma, anxiety and panic disorders and my research interests include Human-Animal Connection and Spirituality of Trauma Survivors and Body Art as a Metaphor for Spiritual Healing. Additionally, I am interested in reaching adolescents using technology (AVATAR Therapy).
- Can you share a brief bio?
- I am a licensed professional counselor with 20 years of working with individuals in the area of trauma, grief loss, domestic violence and abuse. As a Pastoral Counselor I honor spirituality in the healing process.
In addition to private practice, I am adjunct faculty at a local college where I teach face to face and online/hybrid courses.
I am a doctoral student in Pastoral Counseling at Loyola.
As my children are grown, in our spare time my husband and I enjoy biking, hiking, kayaking and playing with our golden doodle and therapy dog, MAX.
