- As an online Gender Specialist I hold a PhD in ‘Gender Studies and Human Development, a Masters degree in Humanities and social sciences together with a social work qualification covering relevant social work issues, extensive Mental Health training and experience, together with psychotherapy and counseling training and qualifications. All of which have been gained over a 30 year period as a fully qualified UK Generic Social Worker, Manager of Head of an Assessment Centre, Child Protection teams, Counselor, Mental Health professional and of late Gender Specialist for the transgender community. I have during that time been involved with transsexual clients not only in the past but in particular the past 10 years in both an online and face to face clinical setting. I am a full and professional member of WPATH the American Counseling Association and, of course, the Online Therapy Institute.
