- What interests would you like to share with friends and members of OTI?
- I am interested in the history of talking therapies, as well as the general topics of existential philosophy and the human condition.
- Can you share a brief bio?
- Originally, whilst a minion in the UK Government's Science Service, I became interested in the use of psychology based therapies and 'Hypnotic Regression' to resolve 'life issues' and although I retain a keen interest in the subject I have never used any form of Hypnotherapy with clients.
By the early 80's I was engaged in various forms of voluntary work helping individuals to resolve personal and work based issues, taking formal training as a counsellor in 2001.
Since then I have trained as a teacher and spent several years undertaking voluntary work in the 'substance abuse' field.
I have been married since 84, and have two children and a Spaniel.
